Accessibility compliance

A store every customer can actually use

Accessibility is bigger than compliance: a meaningful share of your customers navigate with screen readers, keyboards, or low vision, and an inaccessible store simply turns their money away. The legal exposure that comes with ignoring it is just the invoice for the lost principle.

See the work

Trusted by DTC brands worldwide

We make Shopify stores genuinely accessible: audited against WCAG standards, fixed in the theme code itself rather than masked with overlay widgets that satisfy nobody, and documented so you can stand behind the result. Accessible stores are also, not coincidentally, better-built stores: cleaner markup, clearer flows, faster pages.

Good questions

Asked by founders considering accessibility compliance. Yours are welcome too.

Why not just install an accessibility overlay widget?

Because they do not fix the underlying problems, are widely criticized by the disabled users they claim to serve, and have not prevented legal claims. Real remediation in the theme is the only version of this work that actually works.

What standard do you work to?

WCAG 2.1 AA, the benchmark referenced by most regulation and litigation. The audit maps your store against it and the fixes bring the buying path to standard first, then the long tail.

Does accessibility hurt the design?

No, and the portfolio proves it. Contrast, focus states, and semantics done well are invisible to most users and essential to some. Premium and accessible are not competing goals; they are the same craftsmanship.
