Disco Face

A Shopify storefront where an artist's merch, music, and tour live under one roof

2025Music & EntertainmentFashion & Apparel

The brief

Disco Face isn't a merch table bolted onto a website — it's the artist's world with a checkout. We designed and built a Shopify store that carries the whole project in one place: collection drops timed to releases, custom product templates that let each piece tell its story, a blog that keeps the world turning between drops, and an editorial storefront loud enough for the music without ever getting in its way.

The storefront

A stage, not a shelf

Artist stores usually feel like an afterthought to the music. This one leads with it: release imagery given the full frame, drops staged like events, and a storefront that moves with the energy of the project. The commerce is real underneath — clean collections, quick paths to product — but the first impression is the world, not the warehouse.

The craft

Merch with liner notes

Every piece gets a custom product template that treats it like part of the discography: the story behind the design, options that read at a glance, and photography that holds the mood of the release it belongs to. Fans don't buy fabric, they buy the reference — and the product page makes sure they catch it.

From the feed to the checkout

Fans arrive from a story, a stream, or a link in bio, so the phone is the front door. The mobile store lands the drop full-width, gets from announcement to product in a tap, and checks out before the hype cools. Search and filtering keep the back catalog reachable, because somebody is always discovering the project tonight.

The system

One world across merch, music, and tour

The store holds the whole project in a single visual register: release artwork, merch, blog, and tour all speaking the same language. Drops change the content, never the character — so whether a fan lands on a product page or a post, they're unmistakably inside Disco Face.

The store finally feels like part of the project instead of a link we apologize for. Drops sell out faster and fans stick around to explore.

Where it landed

Disco Face now releases into a store built for its rhythm: drops land as events, each piece carries its story, and the world of the project holds from the hero video to the receipt. The team runs releases and posts themselves, and the store keeps the audience warm between them.
