WorkThe Ishu
An editorial Shopify storefront for a fashion label that treats every drop like a story
The brief
The Ishu doesn't release inventory, it publishes chapters: collections that arrive with a point of view and product pages that read like the label is speaking to you directly. We designed and built a Shopify store to carry that voice — an editorial storefront where drops land as stories, custom product templates give each piece its telling, back in stock notices keep sold-out chapters alive, and multi-currency pricing takes the label wherever its readers are.

The storefront
The storefront moves at an editorial pace: campaign photography given the full frame, collections introduced with intent, and typography that carries the label's voice between the images. Underneath the calm is a store built to sell — clear paths into every collection, and drops staged so the newest story is always one scroll away.
The craft
Each piece gets a custom template that tells its story the way the label would: the idea behind the garment, options and sizing that read at a glance, and photography that shows the drape, not just the fabric. Back in stock notices catch the pieces that sell through, so a sold-out chapter keeps collecting readers for the reprint.

In hand
Fashion drops are discovered on phones, so the mobile store carries the full editorial weight: imagery that lands full-width, search and filtering that bring the right piece forward fast, and product pages that keep their voice at reading distance. The path from scrolling to owning stays short, and the label never breaks character on the way.

The system
From the homepage to the last product page, the store keeps a single editorial register: photography first, type that speaks quietly, and layouts that give every collection the same considered frame. Drops change the story; the voice never wavers — and that consistency is what makes the label feel like an author, not a shop.

“The store finally speaks the way we write. Every drop lands like a chapter now, and our customers read the whole thing.”
Where it landed
The Ishu now publishes from a storefront built for its voice: drops arrive as stories, each piece carries its telling, and the editorial register holds from the hero to the checkout. The team runs collections themselves, and every chapter builds the audience for the next one.
