WorkBolt Bikes
A bold Shopify storefront that sells serious kids' e-bikes to careful parents
The brief
Bolt Bikes builds Australia's most powerful kids' electric bikes, and its customers are two people at once: a kid who wants the red one, and a parent reading about brakes. We designed and built a Shopify store that sells to both, with campaign energy up front, spec confidence where the decision happens, and a path to checkout that respects what a considered purchase this is.

The storefront
The storefront rides like the product: coastal campaign imagery, bold type, and the bikes shot like the adventure machines they are. Underneath the energy, the structure stays disciplined, clear ranges, honest pricing, and a straight line from wanting one to owning one. Kids bring the excitement; the store keeps the confidence.
The craft
A 750W motor means nothing to a kid and everything to a parent, so the product pages translate: custom templates that pace power, battery, and braking into plain answers, options that read at a glance, and storytelling that makes the safety case while the photos make the fun one. Switch below to see the page at both sizes.

In hand
Parents research big purchases on their phones, so the mobile store carries the whole decision: specs that read without zooming, imagery that shows scale and build, and answers to the safety questions right where they arise. By the time the desktop opens, the choice is usually made, and often it never needs to open at all.

The system
From the coastal hero to the last spare part, the store runs one bold system: red accents used like a throttle, photography with real outdoors in it, and layouts that keep the energy without ever getting loud where trust matters. It reads like a brand kids will beg for and parents will believe.
Across the store
01 / 12
“The store finally matches the bikes: fun enough for the kids, serious enough for the parents. Blinix got both sides of that balance exactly right.”
Where it landed
Bolt Bikes now sells its machines from a storefront that closes both halves of the sale: the excitement and the confidence. The team runs drops and campaigns themselves, product pages answer the parent questions before support has to, and the brand's energy carries from the first frame to the checkout.
